Recently I managed to get a video of my friend and I killing 14 hogs with our rifles from the truck and managed to run 4 more over with the vehicle in one of our hay fields. these bastards do untold damage to our fields and have almost drove us out of buisness. I would really like to put the video of us killing them and some pictures of the hundreds of acres they have destroyed. YOU WILL BE SHOCKED!!! please help

Alright I tried to bring it up on my screen, but it keeps bringing a message up that says the file is corrupt

Is it legal to kill hogs from a vehicle in Texas? If it is not you might not want to incriminate yourself!

I realize that they are a non-native species and are on the please kill list, but the laws in Tennessee are very specific on shooting from vehicles. What you have described would get you in trouble up here.

I'm all for killing them off.
I am against getting in trouble over doing what needs to be done.
I am really against doing something as dumb as telling on myself!

Yes, as long as you are on private property. Ranchers here shoot them from helicopters with buckshot (I've seen the films). But I've been told that you have to get a permit for that. Now that would be fun.

Send it to me as an email and I will see if I cant figure it out. What kind of file did you make and what kind of camera did you use?

Fryerpower, you have to work to find some sort of illegality in almost any method of killing a feral animal in Texas. Day, night, all year around, gun, poison, you name it. (I'm assuming this is on private land, of course.) True for certain non-game native species as well.

Generally, if you have a hunting license, you're in business.

Just my opinion: That ain't hunting, so I'd rather not see it on this hunting forum at all, thanks anyway. Driving around like a maniac, shooting indiscriminately from a moving vehicle, and running over hogs ain't ethical and it ain't hunting.

Shooting prairie dogs isn't "hunting" either, but just as necessary some places.

Let's just let the mods....sort it out. (wink).

Personally, I don't care how feral are dispatched....as long as it is legal.

They are analogous to cockroaches (just bigger).
