I need some trays that can sit closer to the edge of the bench and the press
They need to be able to fit under the sub plate bar (no I am not cutting it off:))
Clearance is a little less than an inch. call it 7/8"

Small square trays about like a plastic cd holder (those are not deep enough)
If I make some out of thin wood it will use up some of the internal dimension
I can not cut clear acrylic straight enough to make little boxes.
Cutting the rubber maid containers removes the outside rim which is the strength of it.

I used to use Maxwell house plastic can lids to corral bullets, they were pretty thin, not sure if they fit under the sub plate. A case feeder corralled the cases.

How much powder are you using under those kidney beans?

How about cat food trays from dollar store? This one is about 5/8" thick and holds a lot of bullets/brass. The American flags flying makes me feel "patriotic" with every reloading sesson too. :p

Well, I don't use a progressive press, I've only had one cup of coffee and google don't show nittin', and 'scuse my ignerent old mind, but what is the "sub plate bar"?

I actually use the lids from lemonade mix jars, or cut off bottoms, about an inch deep, of plastic coffee kegs (I don’t drink coffee, but my wife used to, so I have a couple of the kegs - dunno what else to call them).

I get a lot of applications out of the flat blue boxes Midway used to repackage bulk bullets in. Do they still?
Lid on for storage, lid cut off as a tray.

a) upside down clay pigeon b) cut the flaps off a 12 gauge shot shell box c) an old washcloth keeps bullets from rolling around on flat table. d) pint or half pint mason jar.
