Okay, I've switched dorm rooms, and I need some politically incorrect art to plaster my door with. Last time around I had such things as a "WWJMBD" sticker I made, and a "Be A Man Among Men" Rhodesian Army recruitment poster.

Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to print some World War 2 propaganda posters, and anything with a FAL, Dragunov, MAC-10, or other evil guns in it. (NO M16s!) Prefer black and white line art, or grayscale...nothing that's going to fry my printer.

Thanks for the help!

Try Oleg Volk's site. Drop his name in google and a couple of options with some very nice images are there to be had.

Usually Oleg will extend permission for limited personal use.

I've looked at his stuff. Top notch, indeed, but I'm trying to express my personality more than make a political or social statement. Besides, all of Oleg's Stuff is high quality, to the extent where it'd be hard on my inkjet printer.

You could buy (or possibly find online) the WWII poster of the solder saying "My Garand does my talking." It may be tough on ink, though.

I'll post again if I think of any others.

Wes

P.S. I just found the poster for sale from the CMP www.odcmp.com .

If straight out line art works for you, take a look here:

www.rkbagear.com
(ignore the "specials".. I can't get into my own site to fix/update that page just yet. )

Anyhow, once I get the computer all that art is stored on working again (Thursday night) I can scale any of it to any size you like and send you a digital file. Ditto for changing text. Just lemme know.

Well, tapco is selling reproduction armorer's posters of the l1a1 and G1 rifles. Not art per se, but it is nonpolitical and gun-ish.

Download Oleg's pictures, then use a free program like Paintshop Pro to turn it into line-art with the 'edge detect' filter.

Here's a little 1911 graphic I put together in CorelDraw.

(sorry about the size)

This image is pretty soft as I really had to resample to get it to a manageable size - resolution suffers accordingly.
