You might want to read this article before you make a decision. 91% of the top 100 Open Division shooters choose to shoot a cartridge other than the 6.5 Creedmoor. Maybe that's significant, maybe it's not.

Close to half of them shoot either 6.5x47 (20%), 6x47 (11%) or 6XC (10%).
That's an article that gets discussed a lot, since Lapua brass was not available when that survey was conducted, it will be interesting to see if the Creedmoor gains some ground now that equivalent brass is available. Maybe it will, maybe it won't, it does seem telling that Lapua eventually gave in and started producing brass for the main cartridge competing with their 6.5x47L
