I have 3 daughters, trying to find a 22LR autoloader with pink stock in time for Christmas. Looking for the following:
- .22LR
- Autoloader (not bolt action)
- Pink stock
- Youth model
I have tried to find a Mossberg Mod 702 Bantam Plinkster (pink, youth model with a 12.25" LOP), but nobody seems to have them in stock, and cannot get them from their wholesalers.

Ruger makes a 10/22 with pink stock, but best I can gather it doesn't have a youth stock and the LOP is 14" or more.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

PS - For any Marlin employees that may read this-please make a Model 60 with pink youth stock. I'd buy 3 if you had 'em.

I have two sons in their 30s so I would like to make this suggestion..........

If your daughters try and pass their pink rifle on to their son when he is old enough to shoot what will the neighbors think.

Estrogen is pink and firearms have testosterone so why not a .22 with a more neutral color? (like wood brown)

bigedp51 - Thanks, rest assured my son already has a Marlin Mod 60 (wood brown stock) that he loves. He wants nothing to do with pink.

fatcat4620 - Yes, I know this is an option, but not one that I can accomplish before Christmas. I got started late in my search. Never thought it would be this difficult. It's my fault. I need to find one to buy since I do not have the time to handle the work myself.

Thanks guys, appreciate the thoughts. Please keep 'em coming. At this point my only option for Christmas morning is a promise that it will come later, or getting a pink bb gun for $20 and then supplementing with the real thing later. Hoping I can avoid either of those and produce a good 22 ready to go.

Buy a Marlin model 60. They are less expensive and just as good. You can always paint the stock. I don't know if an after market pink stock is available.

There is a pink laminated Remington 597 available.

Or pick up a stylin' Boyd's stock for many of the popular rimfires, available in pink and several other cool colors. Most of the rimfire stocks are only about a hundred bucks.

Does it have to be all pink, or would pink camo work?

My 3 yr old daughter wanted a pink Camo M&P last time we went to the store. When we got home, she told her two sisters about it and they want one too.

Spoil your daughters rotten, buy them pink guns.

Bad idea. If you get a "neutral" color just to be able to hand down a firearm, you have eliminated the need to buy another gun in the future.

When my daughter grows up and if she tries to hand down her pink rifle for her possible future son to use, well that's when grandpa will step in and save the day buy purchasing another gun. Gotta help out the economy and all. :D

My 7 year old daughter is lobbying for one of these:

But I plan to eventually build her a dedicated CMMG upper on a standard size AR lower so she can someday get a .223 upper if she wants. I'll just give it the same cool paint job :D

I built this one for my daughter when she was 9, I think. It's a Tac Sol upper on a standard AR Lower.

Duracoat was done in the driveway. The collapsible stock makes the M4gery a great asset for a young shooter.

my wife has a pink 10-22 like you mentioned, and has a length of pull at 13.5 inches, would that be too long? my dad made me start out with a single shot, then a pump winchester with an exposed hammer, safer choices imho. but as a kid, i know a semi auto was a lot more fun and might keep your daughters more interested.

I've already started my daughter with my .22 SBR, so she's hooked on semi's. She just yanks the trigger until it's empty, then hands the empty mag to dad :D

rjrivero, that's pretty much exactly what I have in mind. I have a spare PSA lower sitting in my safe that's earmarked for her, but I might end up going with a Plum Crazy complete lower just to cut down on the weight.

Everyone - thank you very much for the suggestions. I ultimately found a Mossberg 702Bantam Plinkster on GunBroker. Picking it up from teh FFL today, and it will be under the tree for my daughters Christmas morning. Thanks again.
