Anyone know the twist rate in the NEF/H&R HandiRifles? The H&R web site is silent on the question, and they don't even accept email pre-sales inquiries...

Mine is 1in9 (bought it last year). I love it. Service (according to others, I haven't needed it) has been spectacular. However, they were recently bough by Remington. All of the production and support has been moved to ther US factories. So, only time will tell on how service is going to be.

NEF wasn't purchased by Remington by their own direction. Cerberus is behind all aspects of the transaction.

Cerberus is the big financial conglomerate that is trying to buy the world.

Just clarifying...

Further clarification....

NEF/H&R was/were small offshoots of Marlin. I am not sure of how they came around, but anyway. Marlin was recently purchased by Cerberus, who also owns Remington. Also, production has not been moved to the US. It has always been here.

Anyway, I have a friend that owns a few H&R guns. Rifles and shotguns. Never an issue with any of them. Good weapons.
