New 2011…my favorite platform!

Ordered this back in April and picked it up last week. Very slick and well built pistol.

I really love the 2011 platform. As pure shooters, I feel it’s the best platform in the world. I’m sure some others can agree.

Nice Gun, Crazy to think that patch of Carpet has had more money In Guns than Just about any Gunshop you can Name maybe
Holland&Holland or Purdy can beat it not sure though you have an amazing collection

once i saw the gun, i checked the OP and wasn't surprised it was bc1023. good taste in guns and the money to burn. great gun.

Where do you find these things? Is there a secret handshake? If I search buds gun shop for "2011 pistol" it gives 5 hits for rock island and 3 of them will be single stacks lol. Thanks for sharing your collection with us, there are a lot of guns I didn't know existed. I'm not in the market for any of it but it's always fun to see something new instead of the latest gen of glock.

I won an STI SteelMaster years ago and wanted to convert it so that I could compete in a pistol league where only open-sight guns were legal.
I rebuilt the top end with a 5" slide and 6" barrel, just because I thought it would look cool. I installed good sights and had the slide and barrel CeraKoted.
Major PITA getting it done, but it was worth it.

I have a couple Staccato 2011’s, but no older STI’s

Very nice! There was a consecutive set of Combat Masters locally, $19,995 and sold within a week. The only Taran/Staccato model I've shot was the Sand Viper, but it was exceptional.

Yeah they shoot nice

Actually, there’s no more Staccato in the newer Combat Masters or the Pit or Sand Viper. They’re only marked TTI now. Partnership is pretty much over.

I've put plenty of rounds through a Sand Viper, still hate the colors, but one of the nicest shooting guns

I'm not a fan of the color of the Sand Viper, have shot a couple of them and I can't get over it..I just hate FDE/bronze..haha
Agreed

I like the Pit Viper’s looks a lot more

I really like the Oracle Arms 2311, but I’ll wait for the Pro model in a few months.
I am patiently waiting for the Girsan Witness 2311 to come out in 10mm. I also like the Oracle, but don't think they have any plans of releasing a 10mm.

I’m not too impressed with that Girsan

I don't think the Turks will make another 10mm, but they often surprise the market. Never thought the tip up barrel .380 would make a comeback, but they did it.
