Now no one told me just how much fun and how nice it is to have a loaded round fall into the blue plastic bin after every pull of the handle. :)

I am in love. My mailwomen hates my guts though:fire:. After packing 57# of bullts to my door Saturday:cuss:. I cranked out 100 in about an hour today mainly because I am getting used to the machine. I did have only a few hiccups with no primers being seated My fault. Still getting used to that bring handle up and push back.

I might just wear out my 1911 this year.

Nice, ain't it! I love the sound the primer catch makes during use.

Congratulations.

Ya gotta love the fact you can load 100 rounds quicker than you can shoot 100 rounds.

I tried it out with some 308 win as well as some 45acp. I think I will stick to the single stage for the rifle stuff for now. Just like the feel I get with it as I can feel the bullet seating better on the single stage.

57# of bullets you'll be done with those in no time and looking for more.

Kinda funny I you say it took you a whole hour to do a 100rnds. ya know you would be pressed to do 100 in 1.5hrs on a single stage.

My Hornady LNL prog. sets and I load on a single stage ever once in a while so I can conserve my supplies.

ENJOY! the new press

100 rounds takes me 2 weeks on my single stage. I get out there and get the cases sized then tear down set back up and prime the cases with a hand primer. Then bell the case mouths. Tear down again set back up weigh powder and get correct amount add powder to case and seat bullets. That can not all happen at once in my house. I will get the cases sized then I hear DAD Mom needs you. Then i go and see what I am needed for then get side tracked and do something else. Get out the next night (if I am lucky) and get them primed (Again DAD Mom needs you) again finish what I was needed for and now I need to finish homework (Calculus is a Bit#&) Tuesday and Thursday night is my Cisco CCNA class, Friday night is family night. Saturday is the Turkey Shoot from 5 to midnight. Sunday sleep in until 10am get up have coffee feed family go to store or somewhere else. Get home cook dinner do the dishes get the kids to bed. Fall into couch exhausted watch Extreme Home Makeover (Wife forces me to watch) fall asleep get yelled at for snoring. Wake up grab old cat pack her up to bed with me and Monday morning start all over again.

It's no problem when I'm in the garage, but when I'm in the house I hate not hearing the "tink" and knowing I'll have to find the primer before someone steps on it and leaves a dent in the kitchen floor.

You've obviously never been to the range with teenage boys...;) ;)

Ccptango30,

Have fun with you're 550b and give you're mailwoman some chocolate for valentines day. It might make the boxes seem a little lighter.

I found that the rod that moves the priming arm forward and back was working out about an eighth of an inch and it was making it not go to the rear far enough. I just keep an eye on it and push it back in ever 25 rounds or so. I went out and loaded another 100 rounds last night in 20 minutes. I had no problem with priming system. I came home from my calculus class yesturday to find my RCBS powder cop die on the porch waiting for me. That thing works great and let me tell you it will lock the machine up quick fast and in a hurry.
