:cuss: Alright,ya'll finally got to me.I couldn't stand it no more so I went today and dropped some cash on a down payment for a new Bushy today.M4 model. Hope your all happy! Now I'm gonna have to spend all that time at the range, which means I gotta drag all my shootin irons down there too.Vicious circle huh?Dagnabit, now I gotta buy a Holographic sight,a laser, and somekind of tactical light for the flippin thing!Oh well, maybe I can drag myself outta this pit of dispair ;) if I go tomorrow and get myself a case of ammo,a sling, carrying case, new shootin glasses............ :neener:

You forgot the rail system and fancy coyote colored stock and handguards and forward grip and quick detach scope mounts and bipods and sling mounts and whatever else they make for ARs :neener:

where did you get thoes cheak welds for the standard m4 stock. Kina like em, might buy it for myself for christmas

Or are thoes built into the stock :scrutiny:

Itote, I'm in the same hole you are. Too many things to buy, too little money while waiting on the rifle to come in.

Your list covers mine.. except the addition of some good electronic ear muffs.

Saving up for the EOTech, case of M193, carrying case, blahblahblah....

Well, the whole rifle is LMT except for the lower parts kit. The stock is an LMT SOPMOD stock. The cheek weld, IMO, is much more comfortable than a standard Colt collapsible, its made of better material, and the slope of the cheek weld allows for a removable storage compartment on each side. Also, there is nowhere to get facial hair caught and pulled on, like some people say the Magpull stock can do. It also comes with a thin rubberized butt pad, which I like compared to the textured plastic of the Colt style. It uses a milspec tube (Colt, VLTOR, and LMT are the only three milspec tubes on the market). If you have a collapsible from Bushy, RRA, etc, the tube is slightly larger, and you will have to switch to a milspec tube to effectively use this stock. The stock is $200 if you already have a milspec tube, and the whole kit is $263 if you don't. That includes the spring, H buffer, endplate, and nut as well.

Good choice of AR's,been there and done that, here a few old pixs.
I have removed the aluminum handguards and rail panel since pix taking, it just felt too heavy.

:) I did the same thing at the beginning of Nov. . .. .you forgot spare magazines, and cleaning rods, bore guides, etc. :) That and a case of XM193 set me back alot more than I originally expected. Now I want an ACOG and got single point sling.

Have a good one,
Dave
