New Benchrest Record!!

A pending (Subject to certification by NBRSA Records Committee) 200 yard record was established by Johnny Stewart, of Ky, Sunday, July 19th. Fired at the Southeastern Regional Benchrest Tournament, held at Unaka R&G Club near Johnson City, Tn. Stewart's tiny 200 yard 5-shot group measured only .047" (less than 1/16"). Which is less than half the size of the previously standing 200 yd. record of.099" for the Light Varmint (10.5 lbs.) Class rifle. Constantly switching winds at the East Tn. range made Stewart's accomplishment all the more remarkable. I know, because I was firing on the same relay as Johnny, only a few benches away.
