Several of us died-in-the-wool Hi Power fans have set up a new discussion Forum featuring the Browning Hi Power and its clones and copies. It is is a brand-new Forum in its second month of operation. We feature John Browning’s creation, but also discuss lots of other guns. Our goal is to create a Forum that is a friendly and welcoming resource to all hands regardless of what their experience level may be, and while doing so to maintain a reasonable respect for technical accuracy and historical authenticity about the guns we discuss. We also discuss other guns and related topics as well, but stay completely away from politics.

As you might guess, we are totally devoted to the Second Amendment.

Come on over and give us a try, we're a friendly bunch who places a premium on gentlemanly conduct. You can look in at: http://highpowercollectors.proboards.com/

We are sincerely grateful to the Administrator, Mal H., for allowing us to post this notice here on the High Road Forum.

Glad to see the new forum. Thanks for posting the link!

One of the first things I read there was the thread about the discontinuation of the Hi Power. If that sticks, it's a shame. The HP is a great gun, IMO. I don't shoot my '94 model MK III as often or quite as well as my CZ 85 Combat, but I really love the gun. There's just something special about them.

Thanks, JayPee!

The Forum is top notch and sign up was a breeze. I always appreciate a chance to use a picture of my Mauser HiPower with the Thin Navidrex Micarta Grips...

I registered on this new board some time ago, but now it will not accept my sign in, more specifically my password!

Tried to register but it wouldn't accept my user name "Alte Schule".
Pro Boards sites seem to have a lot of problems.
The name you use to register isn't necessarily the one you use on the forum.
It's a confusing set up, and hard to get their system to work smoothly.

Thanks for the comments, guys. And you're very correct about the Proboards software being tough to deal with. I've passed on the names of the guys who are having problems getting on to our software guy and we'll try to get it rectified. Sorry for the trouble.
