My rear sling swivel came apart and I had to remove it from the stock to replace the little circlip fastener that holds it together...

And that happened to mine today while I was playing with the rifle. I took the swivel apart and that circlip doesn't seen very robust. After you put yours back together has it held? I'm wondering if it can be made more durable. I'd hate to have the swivel come apart while the rifle is slung.

I went to my local Napa auto Parts store and they provided me with a robust replacement. It has held up well and I don’t even think about it anymore. I think it sucks how a $1,200.00 rifle has such crappy sling attachment hardware.
