New Die Wrench

A bit pricey for my taste

I'm not sure I would want a box end anyway. I had a wrench that was basically a flat piece of metal. Open end and a box end cut out of the middle that worked fine but I lost it somehow in a move.

I often think of getting another one but will pass on this one.

The Dillon looks like a very good wrench, as are most all of their products.

I bought two flat wrenches at the surplus store, cost was $1 each. The 1-1/8" (shown first) fits Hornady die rings, which the Dillon cannot do.

The second photo shows my 1-3/16" wrench, which need some grinding to be used.

It is not made by Dillon.

Would like to find a cheap 1-1/8 open end wrench myself.

How about Harbor Freight or Northern Tool? Often you can buy a cheap full set for the price of a single good USA made tool.

Well I have to chime in now. I agree that you can buy and grind a wrench to fit dies on any color head, and it may be cheaper in the end.

You may not be trying to win a 24 hour race with it.

However, the OPs link lead me to some good reading from the MFRs page at http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/page/217691

I'm not spending the $28 for the wrench, but did snag some free info here.

that tek tip page is worth clicking on the site for sure! I was poking around and there is some good info on that site :)

about spending $30 for a die wrench, well, I have a good old wrench I picked up at a yard sale for 50 cents decades ago.... it'a about 50 years old if it's a day, nice patina on it, and it just looks cool.... and heck, it was only 2 quarters :)
