If you can stand that gritty 254 pound first DA pull, go for it.
Yeah, the sa trigger is heavy, fortunately it's not gritty and I already ordered the Wolff spring kit for it

Good pick up. Solid quality little pistols.
I've had a couple of them over the years. Back in the 1990s, seems they were everywhere for $99.00 and I always seemed to have one, sell it or trade it off and then get another one because they were so affordable. My Ex kept my last one when we split in early 2000s and I've not seen anymore for sale since.

I have a Polish P-64 and the replacement P-84 and love them. A solid feel. Not "top heavy" like my Glock 23.
How many does the 83 hold and does it have a decocker?
I am waiting for the items from MidwayUSA so I can start trimming 9x19 to 9x18.
I am open to suggestions on how to keep the 9x18 separate from the 9x18. Red sharpie??
Similar profiles as well. other than the trigger guard. My FEG 63 and my Bersa Thunder hold 7+1 rds.. The 63 also has the same safety / decocker as my thunder.shown here.

The 83 holds eight and has a decocker. Sharpie sounds like a good a solution as any-- they surely are hard to keep separated!I have a Polish P-64 and the replacement P-84 and love them. A solid feel. Not "top heavy" like my Glock 23.

Since that Mak projectile is something like .363" or so in diameter, you're gonna want to put a REAL bell mouth on that casing...I have a Polish P-64 and the replacement P-84 and love them. A solid feel. Not "top heavy" like my Glock 23.

A PA-63 as my first EDC gun for a couple of years...then to a Bersa Thunder...and finally to a S&W 642. My PA-63 was absolutely reliable.
If you want springs, let me know. I sold the gun and forgot I had spring sets from Wolff. You can have them for free if you want. PM me.
