What is your intended use(s)? I can't tell from that picture exactly which shotgun you're looking at. Give us a bit more information and we'll do our best to help.

That shotgun you're looking at is a Mossberg 590 HD shotgun. If you're looking for a first shotgun I don't think you can go wrong getting a Mossberg or a Remington 870 pump. I've never been a big fan of pistol grips on shotguns though. They get pretty uncomfortable in the hand especially when you start shooting 00 Buckshot or the slugs. If I were in your shoes I'd get a field grade 28 inch barreled pump shotgun for bird hunting and get an extra slug barrel with rifle sights and choke tubes. The nice thing about this setup is that you can use the same gun for shooting in clay target games and duck hunting and then put it back in the HD configuration with a simple barrel change when you get home.

While I prefer pistol grip shotguns for home defense I would steer you away from that model or the Remington pistol grip shotgun unless you have had a chance to try it out. Personally I believe that the stock angle drops too much on these shotguns making them ungainly. Start out with a normal stock and then later think about adding a Mesa or Knoxx pistol grip stock.
