:) I just signed up to the sight. Looks like lots of good knowledge here. Last week I purchased a Kahr CW45 and want to know if there are any shooters out there with the same and have any comments, good & bad about the gun. I ordered Talon's granulate wrap-on grip enhancers yesterday. After shooting 100 rounds the stippling is a little sharp on the front strap. I'll likely sand off some of the sharpness on the outer rows.

Welcome, chief.
I also have no experience with you gun - or any Kahr, for that matter - but if you are looking for feedback you might consider modifying your thread title to grab the Kahr owners' attention.

Enjoy your new gun!

What Tar Devil said about your title is true.

Welcome to THR. It is a great source of information, interesting gun stories, and at times, entertainment.

No input on your gun though. Sorry.

Hey, welcome aboard! Even as a mod, I have no info about your gun, but there are tons of hardcore Kahr fans and a few detractors that will be here soon. Again, welcome to THR and have fun!

It's a good carry gun, not a range gun but small enough to carry all day comfortably. Keep an eye on the frame of the gun near the front "dustcover" for swelling, if it doesn't happen right away, you are probably ok.

Welcome! You are on the best gun board on the web imho. I hate to have to walk on egg shells because some know it all commando is going to jump on me if I don't see things exactly the way he does. No knowledge of your gun. The only Kahr I ever had did a KB before it reached 100 rounds. :D

I don't have a 45 kahr but a couple 9mm and a larger tp40. Thousands of rounds thru each with zero issues. You passed the first trial. Keeping skin on your hand where the thumb mets the web area . To many rounds fire at one setting can aid in skin removal from grip wiggle . The sticky grips will help the grip issues. I cheap out and use old inner tube cut to cover as much grip as possible. Go to kahrtalk as theres getting to be a pile of 45 shooters now. Some 1911 mags fit and work well well right off, some need a little material removed be for working . Treads there can offer info. Some ammo QC can be a little off from time to time with most companies cheaper ammo but ammo today is not as good as in days gone by.

Keep it wet and hold on tight.
