Just bought a Hi-Point 9mm C comp from a guy who bought it new and never fired it . 2 holsters ,100 rounds of ammo , an 8 shot clip & a 10 shot clip ,It also has the compensator . $150 . I think a new one without the extras would cost about the same . I'll be going to the range soon to see how it shoots .

Congrats, they work!. Slide scares my meaty hands to death but their Carbines Work well too, and I can shoot my old man's 9mm all day without injuring my cruddy shoulders.

He's an "old gun" guy.... and he's strapped a $7 laser flashlight to the barrel... and it shoots to a point that splits the difference between the green dot and the laser. I think he's going for the Humor in the build.... God I hope so....

One of the best warranties in the industry apparently as well.

1k rounds In High point JCP and 1500+ in 4095ts. One of the factory clips was horrible in both guns. Quick swap out and problem solved. I have used their customer service twice, Once was my bad lost a screw while adjusting back sight, and I bent a firing pin once (at a round numbering 1000 and something without cleaning) in the Ts. Both times no fee, and no questions other than: "how do you like the firearm? what broke? and hows the weather up by you?" Love American Customer Service in AMERICA...lol

They're ugly! They're awful! You should be committed to an institution and never allowed to procreate! Just kidding. Seems like that's what the armchair commandos who have never owned one try to say. I had the compact 9mm high point and never could get it to jam. Wish I still had it but it was an add on to a trade for something else I simply had to have. Enjoy your purchase. You did well.

I like my C9. Wish I had a comp though. Hi-Point doesn't make them any more and they are tough to come by. Nice find.

A little tough to get a grip on the slide to rack it and I'm not sure I would trust carrying one with a round in the chamber, but other than that I like mine.

I would say that I read the first two pages of that thread, but that would imply there were actual words to read. I did see lots of gibberish and few pictures. My head hurts now.

Going to drink something of at least 150 proof and then lie down. Ouch.

Enjoy, don't too excited for the first couple of hundred rounds if it has the occasional hang-up. My kids now grown have literally rans thousands and thousands of rounds through a .380 comp and a JHP. If you do have any real problems, the folks at Hi-point are great!

Double ouch-I managed to get through four pages before needing to get to a rubber room so I wouldn't hurt myself. I kept expecting Dr. Suess to show up, twirling a couple of Hi-Points and challenging me to a duel.

Seriously, though: Hi-Points are worth every penny you pay for them...

C9s shoot well, when they work, but ...
I had mine for about a year when suddenly it would jam on every other round.

Took it apart when I got home & the slide had a mushroomed area on both sides.
When I called Hi-Point, the tech knew exactly what I was talking about (so it's a known issue).

But I have to commend them.
I sent it in & they had it back to me in less than a week.
Looks perfect now.
