I have a Taurus PT24/7, with a DeSantis holster that is for my specific gun and fits quite well. However, as someone with diabetes and declining eyesight, I recently bought a under barrel laser sight. So now it doesn't fit my holster. Rather for my gun or not, does anybody make holsters for this general application? So far Crimson Trace doesn't make grip laser sights for my specific model, which would be the better way to go. Thanks.

Hmm, not sure right off. My first thought was Crimson Trace, but then I read further, lol.

Can you post a picture of your gun with said laser mount?

If your laser clips to the rail under the barrel, you need to look for a holster designed to accommodate a weapon mounted light.

Is your DeSantis an IWB or OWB holsters?

Blade-Tech makes Kydex holsters for guns with lights mounted.

Not sure if they make one for your gun or not (but according to this article they may)

I'm assuming your laser looks something like this?

its owb, and I think the laser is about half the size of the one in the picture. Mounted the same and the same gun.

It's a Laserlyte QD universal rail mount system I ordered online from Basspro. It's approx. 1 5/8 inches long 1 inch wide and 1 inch from top to bottom.

If your laser is smaller than it should work well with any holster that will accommodate a light.

Only issue I can see is that while several holster makers make holsters for guns with lights mounted, they don't seem to make them for your Taurus.

You may need to contact Blade-Tech directly as the guy that wrote that article I linked before claims they make one for the 24/7.

Additionally, if you have a local holster maker he can probably make you a nice leather holster by using your gun/laser combo as a mold (I'm currently having a local holster make a holster for my CZ 75 SA .40 since nobody carries molds for this pistol).

Here's a big list of holster makers http://www.alumbankweb.com/cc-riglinks.php maybe you can find one in Arkansas (shipping your gun to a holster maker out of state will be a major PITA and expense so you'll want to either find a holster maker that already makes what you want or deal with an in state guy for a full on custom job).
