Just got to FT Riley, KS - getting ready to go over to Afghanistan with an ETT

I have carried a Benchmade Emerson CQC7 since 1998 - one of my favorite all time knives - a true classic.

I wanted something a little larger this time, so I ordered an Emerson Super CQC7 with the Wave feature. It's the bigger badder brother to the CQC7 model. Got it last Thursday. WOW!!! is all I can say. It is everything I have been accustomed to and more. The bigger size is great for tactical knife, and the "Wave" feature makes it one of the fastest opening knives on the market. It catches the corner of the pocket and the knife is open when it comes out. Don't want that feature, pull out where it doesn't catch.

I got mine from Sawyer's Cutlery, [email protected] for $150,00 plus shipping - great buy (they normally sell for around $230). The only down side is that they were out of the plain blade in satin. For the price, I can learn to like the black.:)

Looking for a great tactical folder - check this one out

Very, very nice. I really like that knife.

When I decided to up size I changed over to a more conventional blade design with the wave feature. I have always wanted a CQC10.
