new knife for the bush

All waxed up to keep the blade rust free and purty too.

It's slightly heavier than my trusty old CAS barong, but feels lively enough.

Beautiful knife.

It looks similiar to the one Cold Steel Moro Barong was selling a couple of years ago.

I had a coworker that was a practioner of the Filipino martial arts that bought one and it was a delightfully balanced weapon!

Yep, it's a Cold Steel. I'm impressed with the appearance and it doesn't seem to have any loose parts. The blade is difficult to draw from the sheath, but that will either work out or I'll fix it with a strip of orbital sander disk and an old knife.

I got one for my MA teacher and decided to get one for myself. They came in several days apart and mine ended up being pretier than his.
