New Britain's Ban on Concealed Carry of Firearms is Over!
CCDL has worked with officials in New Britain to help modify their ban on concealed weapons to exempt permit holders. Ordinance (16-80) has passed the Common Council and has been signed in to law by Mayor O' Brien. The resolution took affect on 09/28. This was the second part of a successful initiative by CCDL to bring New Britain and New London in line with state statutes. A big Thank You to the members that showed up at the committee and council meetings, and a special thanks goes out to Henry Zembko for all of his work.
