Traded into an M60 Pro on Friday and was able to get out Easter afternoon to try it. I took a box of 158gr FMJ Perfecta 357 and a box of my reloads that were a midrange load with a 158gr cast lead bullet. I also took 20 rounds of 158gr HydraShok.
It was shooting a bit low so I adjusted the rear sight up 3 clicks and then shot this with the Hydrashoks. This was standing, no rest at 25ft in single action for max accuracy

Then I shot 5 more from the same position except they were double action. I pulled these to the right a bit

My buddy yelled "Threat" and I drew fro the holster and popped off these 3 as fast as I could from 20-25 feet

Good shooting with the J frame!

What stocks does the gun wear, and how was recoil with the various loads in the small frame Smith?

Its got the stock wood grips that come on the Pro series M60. Full power loads were pretty stout but bearable by hanging on real tight. Wouldn't want to shoot over 50 in a session. With the 158gr Hydrashoks, 20 was enough but I had already shot a box of 158gr Perfecta by then. My midrange load with a cast 158gr bullet was pleasant and I could shoot them all day. My buddy had some Winchester 130gr 38 specials and they were really mild. I think with a rubber grip that covers the backstrap I could shoot about anything through it without a problem, but I am not very recoil sensitive. here is the gun
