New Magpul PMAG announced

The new PMAG fixes several of the problems encountered with the previous generation. It's still completely polymer but will now work in most rifles designed to use the STANAG magazine including the SCAR, MR556A1 (HK416), SA80 and others.

It's not on the market yet, it won't drop until spring of 2012 and no price is set.

I'll do a full video review of the magazine when it's available.

Pretty cool for non AR shooters. Maybe the buzz for them will drop regular PMAG prices even more =)

It also features a new paint pen dot matrix on the bottom of the magazine designed to allow the user to mark the magazines for easy identification.

I like this, but a regular paint pen works just as well anywhere you want...prolly not tactical though.

Just from looking at it I doubt it will... That first ridge looks like it will still cause it to hang up.
