This looks like a fun product. Suggested retail is almost $50 more than the whole Bulgarian Makarov cost me in the first place, though. What are people really paying for these? No way is a Bulgarian made kit able to command what a Ciener conversion for a larger pistol would.
If the price was proportional to the pistol, they should sell a lot of these.
I have one.
It's not reliable with any ammo, especially bullets with somewhat of a blunt nose.
The first problem was, I went through 3 Makarovs before I found one that the conversion would fit and function on.
The magazines look like they were made from some junk metal they had laying around.
The thumb nut on the front keeps loosening.
It's expensive.
The up side is it is a good imitation for shooting the 9x18 Mak.
Of course it's cheap to shoot and will pay for itself in a few bricks of 22LR.
It's fun to plink with and malfunctioning once in a while doesn't really matter.
Would I buy it again? Probably, but I wouldn't if I wanted perfection for my $200.
M2 Carbine,
Unreliable Comblock gun part. Is that oxymoron or what.
I only have one Makarov...should have bought more in anticipation of stuff like this. I'll keep shooting my CZ Kadet for now.
