Hi, I'm verb0s, and I came across the forum from time to time, and I finally decided to join seeing that I now actually own firearms. Before that, it was all airsguns, airsoft guns, and a handful of various homemade guns.
I come from a family that couldn't be more different than me. My parents do not tolerate gun ownership. They are still unaware of my two rifles' existance. Although they supposedly do not allow guns (that means any gun, even if its a toy) my dad bought an air rifle when I was 13, starting this whole gun-thing I have. After learning from a manager at Big5 Sporting Goods that I can't buy a gun until I turned 18, I tried bringing up the topic numerous times with my parents.
So I had to wait until 18 to by my first gun- I started with airsoft pistols, and rifles, then worked into pellet guns. Around July 2007 I bought my Marlin 22lr, then recently, found my Norinco SKS at a gunstore for 225$.
I'm an active plinker with my 22, because its quiet. I haven't gotten around to shoot my SKS yet. I also shoot my air rifle, from time to time, mainly at home because its so quiet.
