Hello everybody! I'm pleased to announce that we have created a new online auction site dedicated to firearms and related stuff. We have invested alot of time and effort into making it as "User Friendly" as we possibly could, while still maintaining alot of amazing features. I encourage you to try it out and let us know what we can do to make it even better!

Users can create an account and start posting auctions for FREE. Also, to celebrate the new site, all optional "Special Listing Fees" are marked down 75% OFF untill June 31st, 2009.

I agree. What's up with the $75??? You pay that + transfer fee from a ffl dealer and you are paying more than suggested retail....:confused::confused::confused:
Nice to see another gun site - but dammmmmmmm!

I think that the $75 is from the seller of the item and not the site.

I would imagine that anyone who posted a gun for sale could set their own shipping fees...correct me if I'm wrong.

June 31st???
I especially like the 75% off until June 31st. Looks like that special will be good forever.

Gardien, good catch!

People will get the price they want one way or another

Always read the fine print! $75 shipping is just another scam to make extra money. Prices don't seem very low either. $600 for a remington 870 marine? That's the starting bid! $950 buy it now! Then add $75 onto that! Thanks but no thanks, i'll do business with someone else. I see these "new" auction sites pop up all the time, but they can't compete with Gunbroker or Bud's. Unless prices drop dramatically i believe this site will also fade away! For $75 shipping maybe they will hand carry it across country and personally deliver it to me! :)

I believe the %75 percent off is for listing an item, not for purchasing an item. Why show astronomical prices just to sell them for 75% off, doesn't make any sense

overall I'm not terribly impressed, maybe with time it'll be better but right now the fees are not so great, generally when buying off of auction sites I expect to spend more then I would in store in the long run but thats fine as I'm usually buying off of those sites out of convienience, I'd never spend so high of a price for the firearm itself before all the fees

Guys, it looks like only one seller 'epicsolutions' has listed items so far. So the poor prices and high shipping is his 'fault' and it really doesn't reflect on the site. The prices and shipping will fall towards the average prices on gunbroker and gunsamerica as more listings are made.

hehe... Good catch on "June 31st", thank you.

Also, prices were way high due to the only seller doing it that way. We have talked, and prices/shipping were adjusted. It did look very poor for our new site :(

Please, keep us in mind for future transactions! We are trying VERY hard to impliment each and every suggestion to make the site better! The more users we get, the better we can make the site.

Well thank God the prices of shipping were adjusted!

I figured i'd give the website another look. Yes the prices on shipping were adjusted, but shipping is still $50! Maybe the seller is using the new instant arrival shipping method designed by NASA! I live up in Alaska and don't even pay that much shipping usually.

It's your site. Can't you set the price for shipping that is in line with other sites. I think that taking control of your own site would be in your best interest.

All you folks complaining about shipping prices...

It's just like ebay. The SELLER sets the shipping fee, not the site owner/admin.

Best of luck with the site...however, I created a FTF finder site (see my sig) that lets people list items for _FREE_ and have only had a handful of items posted in the last few months. You got a lot of work/advertising ahead of you.

I created my site because I wanted to give back to the community...and it seems the community is happy paying fees. :)

I tried doing a couple searches and it wouldn't let me. It kept taking me to an "Advanced Search" page, which shouldn't be necassary for a simple "Colt Revolvers" search.

No thanks, $40 to $75 is just to steep for shipping and then the addition of the FFL fees. I also notice there has been no bids on any of the items listed most likely because of the shipping cost.

FFL to FFL shipping at the Post Office is still cheap. A few years ago Whittaker's in KY mailed a Cooper to my FFL in VA and apologized for charging me $16 instead of the usual $12. Added insurance you know; it was a $1600 rifle.

Okay, I looked, here are their current charges. The $12 minimum is now $20. These folks are great and have years and years of online rave reviews.

"We will ship to any FFL dealer. Shipping cost for firearms:

Hand Gun: Starting at $20.00 for US Mail and going up from there.

Long Gun: Starting at $20.00 and going up from there.

Black Powder Firearms: Starting at $20.00

Scope: Starting at $10.00"

We now have about 40 active users and growing. We also now have auctions starting at $1.00, many with no reserves.

And King Ghidora, you are very close, but not quite 100% with your speculation... Those first 10 guns that are listed are some of the "partners". However, they really do want them to sell. The prices and shipping were given to us as a "basis" to build on, and we quickly realized that they were not all that accurate, and we have adjusted.

We need more users and auctions! The more people we get using this site, the better it will be. Post those guns!

Also, "Kanook", we created a Black Powder section! Thank you for suggesting it.

FREE

Just wanted to let you all know that this site is now FREE for everyone! There will never be any kind of "final value" fees or anything like that. Help us grow and enjoy a completely free online firearms auction for your buying and selling needs.

I only see 6 listings total... Do you have to be a member to see the 40+ active members or the "many listings" you mentioned?
