Many of use here are familiar with the circumferential primer crimp from military brass such as Lake City brass, and I've also seen primers crimped in by three stakings perpendicular to the edge of the primer. Out of habit, I was picking up range brass today (not that there's much to be picked up) and found this Lake City 2012 with 4 unusual semi-circumferential stakings. I guess they've changed the method they use to crimp primers in.
