I just picked up a new-in-box, unfired milled Mak-90. It has the circle with 386 on the receiver. I am not sure which direction to go with her. Any ideas? At present I am considering a Polytech buttstock and PG then call it a day...
I would put a standard-style stock and pistol grip on it (someone makes one that fits the shape of the Norinco receiver). I would also thread the muzzle.
DONT CHANGE A THING!!!! Find someone with another AK and you will find something just...off with the way it feels compared with the Mak 90. I totally loved my Mak until it got stolen. Trust me, wait until you can fire the 2 side by side to get a feel for them both until you spend money to change something that doesnt need changing.
it would probably be worth more if it wasnt modified at all, its a milled receiver in great shape and the price for these seem to just keep going up.
if you choose to convert it should look up 922 compliance for how many parts you will have to change out.
