Just shy of 1 year after relocating, I have my reloading bench back!
Actually, it has been completed for about a month. I just have not had time to do any loading until I was let go from my job because of the Corona Virus scare. Several projects came to a screeching halt and several more went on indefinite hold. We will get by, somehow. We have in the past. Similar situation as 2008 financial markets melt-down, 2001 Terrorism Scare and 1989 Savings and Loan Debacle. We survived, a little dented and damaged, but we made it.

So, yesterday I sat down at the loading bench and brushed the rust off my mind and hands and built some test loads for my 1885 Winchester Low Wall in .243 Win. and some 180 grain loads for my .300-06 Tikka T3 Hunter, just for tickles and grins.

It sure felt good!! :D

Nice. I relocated and had my press in the box for four years. I just setup a new bench a few months ago. It felt good to finally pull that press handle again.

Color me green, @Poper!
That’s a great new place!
And it sounds productive, too!
Well, when we moved in, there was a storage closet/room there with shelves full height on two sides. There was a single bare-bulb light fixture with a 15 watt light bulb and a pull chain on the ceiling. (It was changed out for the LED fixture with pull chain in the photo.) After removing the shelving, I removed two walls and the door and gave the walls and ceiling a coat of paint. The cabinets are new "assembly required" stuff. The work top is a sheet of 3/4" cabinet grade plywood cut length-wise with one half screwed to the cabinet tops of the two base cabinets with deck screws and the other half sheet screwed to the first for a 1-1/2" thick bench top. I took a round-over bit in my router to the edge and laid on 4 coats of polyurethane. The tall cabinet on the left holds misc. items; scopes and scope boxes, holsters, rimfire ammo, loaded center fire ammo and new brass, etc. Base cabinet on the right has tools in the top drawer, brass (6.5x55 & .222 Rem.) and loading blocks in the 2nd drawer and just sorted and labeled brass in the lower drawer. Base cabinet on the left has powder below and misc. tools in the drawer.
Overhead cabinets have dies, powder measures, scales and all sorts of small odds and ends. There is a 24" LED linear light screwed to the underside of the center overhead cabinet and plugged into a power strip that is screwed to the work top.
Under the overhead cabinets at each end is a single shelf 3" wide x 3/4" thick oak for boxes of jacketed rifle bullets . Pistol bullets are on the bench top. The books to the left are temporarily there until I can put a bookshelf on the wall to the left for loading and reference books.

lookin' good.....!

How far back in time does that metal canister of Bullseye go...?

I've only been reloading for bout 5 years, so that kind of stuff is kinda cool....

Out of curiosity, where did your cabinet units come from (I did not see a source)?

That can is a gift from a friend from about 15 years ago. It was a common container up until the 1980's, IIRC. I use it to hold small quantities. Besides, I think it's cool, too.

I got 'em through Home Depot online. It was a ensemble of two tall cabinets either side of the two base cabinets and two of the overhead cabinets. I didn't have enough space for all of them to be assembled in the fashion/configuration they were intended for so I split them up to suit the space. I also added a single overhead cabinet on the right. I like the open shelf with the small doors above and I just had enough space to add it. If I remember right, the mfr. was "Kronos", or something like that.

Good looking setup @Poper. Looks like you have a nice inventory too.
Thank you, Captn!
Yes, I took advantage of the plentiful and economical components over the last 3 or 4 years. The only thing I really should add to the stash is about 300 or so .308 - 180 gr. Sierra Game Kings to help with load development for the .30-06 and .300WSM.

Haha... I'm waiting on some of those in the mail right now. Sierra makes some good bullets! Mine's for 300 Weatherby.
