My better half got me some shop cabinets from Menards for Christmas last year and the orders are finally starting to be fulfilled. I've got two more stackable 2 door cabinets to install and 3 overhead waiting to be picked up. It's nice to have the space for everything for once. The downside is going through all of my crap... I didn't realize how much stuff I've accumulated over the past 6 years. It's actually kind of like Christmas all over again. 20210314_170346.jpg

I need to get a wood deck for my work top so I can mount equipment but that's going to be something I can do once I get all of my stuff sorted out and the rest of the cabinets installed.

What do you guys think?

were’s the coffee maker?

What kind of beverage is sitting there un-opened and what kind of press is that sitting beside the DeWalt drill?
I don't think it's a re-loading press but is is some kind of press.

The unfinished drywall would drive me out of my mind! WHERE'S THE MUD!!

Love the cabinets, and would also put maple butcherblock on top of them. Bolt it down to the top of the cabinets and fill up the underside of the cabinets with bullets and lead to hold them down, then mount my presses to it.

How'd you make out with starting a bullet making company? Haven't seen a follow up from that post.

I think you're spoiled, but that's what good wives do....Looks like a better than a fine start. Next Christmas maybe a 3D printer so you can make 4 feeders for the price of one. Have fun with this stage! My printer saved me from going stark raving mad this winter.......stupid Covid indoors ended up actually fun.....not shooting, mind you....but still fun stuff to go with reloading.

It's a Lewis and Clark Pale Prickly Pear Ale out of Helena, MT next to a Forster Coax. I bought the place with the garage unfinished and I'll mud it up this summer since we're going to be doing a remodel on the house anyway.

Making bullets is going to be a ways out yet. If I can finish up the house remodel I'll have full use of my garage and maybe get into turning monolithic bullets but the cup and core project probably won't be realized until 2026 or so.

Nice. When I replaced the top on my bench, I built it with a bit of overhang so that I could get my knees up under the top and avoid having to lean in.

For ME, if I am sitting - whether in a chair or on a barstool height seat, I like to have room under the top for my knees. If I am standing, that becomes moot. SO, if you like to have room for your knees, when you build your wood top, make it overhang enough to allow you to do so. I found using the Inline Fabrication press risers to be a God-send in that regard as they remove all of the torque on the edge of the top and it is now redirected directly down on the top.

@Orcon great space! Great wife as well, nice to see one that supports your hobby!

Oh and just wanted to say, that drywall will never get finished. :D

It looks pretty organized, at least for now. You may want to plan on some additional overhead lighting so you’re not working in shadows.
I want to see the automated bullet supply coming from your bullet production into your reloading space. Good luck.

Far too organized. I'd never be able to find anything. But, for a normal, average, sane person, it looks great!
