Has anyone tried New Republic 7.62x39 ammo in their Ruger American Ranch?

My Ranch shoots MOA or better with Russian Steel case and I'm buying up all I can before it dries up, but I'm looking for what I'm gonna do when it dries up.

I never thought id see the day where i couldnt get the 154gr soft points but havent seen wolf or tula x39 up here in Alaska in quite some time. I may have several paperweights pretty soon. :(

On another thread recently about 7.62x39 ammo.. someone mentioned that possibly PSA is setting up to produce that caliber... One thing is certain - as popular as that item is - someone will step up and produce it for the marketplace in good quantities if other sources dry up... I wouldn't expect it to be as cheap as that surplus stuff though - not at all...

You might want to use the search feature about this - there's been a lot of info recently about this caliber ammo..

I have done the search. My question isn't about just finding ammo. I can find what many would call blasting ammo. I'm looking for ammo that is cheap and shoots as accurately as wolf and tula do. That's why I'm asking about this specific ammo. Believe it or not, not all steel cased shoots the same.

Yes, I heard that PSA is gearing up to load 7.62x39, but there's no guarantee of how it"s going to shoot or when it will be available, so I'm looking for what's available now. As for the price, I'm not expecting that PSA is actually going to charge a low price, but rather a more competitive price based on what the market will bear. With the price being driven by the market as it is, im expecting to see something around .60 per round, shipped, which isnt much of a deal.

When AAC ammo hit the market, I was wowed by the prices, but once you factor in taxes and shipping, the prices became just competitive with places that offer free shipping.
