In my 62 years have licensed hunted when money was tight. On fixed income and overcoming injury, acquired .22 and rifle. AR type.
Three uppers, budget. Wylde/.300 bo/7.62×39.
Love the ar. Previously moisin/fr8/carl gustav hunter. Marlin glenfield .22.
What kind of sights optics do hunterd use for short range deer/hog/blackbear/fur bearers/small game at less than 100 yds.
Did I mention laziness among my skills? I have to be starving to walk 150 yards to start tracking.

for the .22 id probably run a 2-7/3-9 rimfire
LPVO on the AR uppers, but if your lazy you might wanna shop around carefully for your LPVO (or go straight to leupold etc.) as they are often surprisingly heavy.

I would also consider a 3-9x32/40 for whichever upper you intend to hunt with the most. While not quite as good at very close range as an LPVO, with a little practice its not hard to be very fast, and the 3-9s are generally some of the better scopes for their price ranges.
