New scope for CZ 457 experience?

I found a scope on sale for my new CZ 457 American. Target shooting at 50 yards mostly. Found this one on sale and took a chance. I ordered a Vortex Optics Diamondback HP 4x 16 x 42 Side Focus. Anyone had experience with these? How did it perform?

Well, I thought seriously about getting one last week -- does that count?

As usual (for me), I decided to cheap out and got a Bushnell 3-9x40 instead, spending the price difference on an expensive book:



I mounted the Bushnell on my Remington 580 single-shot yesterday, and will probably get to the range with it later this week.

Good luck with the Vortex! I covet your CZ -- my buddy Jeff on the range staff just showed me his newish 457 in .22 WMR and it's a mighty sweet rifle!
