Showtime fired off a six-episode order for Lock ‘N Load, a new half-hour reality series.
Penn & Teller: Bull****

The pay network also announced the renewal of Penn & Teller: Bull****!.

Lock ‘N Load is set in a gun store in Englewood, Colo., and it follows the working days of gun salesman Josh Ryan as he sells to clientele including a new parent wanting to protect his family and a woman in her 30s who wants to carry one in her purse for protection.

Customers are filmed using hidden cameras until after the transaction. A shooting range in the basement of the store should add some pop to the series.

Showtime will roll out the series next year. It is from Authentic Entertainment, with Tom Rogan and Lauren Lexton serving as executive producers.

They're going to need some unbelievable hype to make this even remotely interesting.

If some antis can tune in though, maybe that's what they need to see.

Yea, I was nervous too. I'm curious what kind of picture they will paint about gun owners.I saw a quick preview on showtime. It was a hidden camera up near the ceiling just like a surveillance camera that was videotaping the interactions between buyer and seller. It was only 3 or 4 seconds long so I can't say what the whole show will be like. We shall see.

Either we'll be upset for how they are portraying us, or antis will be upset for making guns look so harmless, commonplace, and easily accessible.

Showtime surprised me with the Penn and Teller show, which was fairly pro-gun. I think we are seeing a change in the public's feelings about firearms. Even many liberals are seeing the light.

For legal reasons, I hope the transaction lasted longer than the video clip. Not a good sign for this "show".

thier website has videos up about it . it shows them shooting with customers taking about why they buy guns and what they mean to diffrent people looks interesting.

I can't imagine that anything interesting from this show isn't cooked-up scripted drama

Maybe not, I watch Pawn Stars and that is done well without hype.
Just add a few bleeped-out words and some weird people and they'll have a TV hit
:)

I saw a couple clips for this show on my phone (can't remember what app). It looked mildly entertaining but I think it will give plenty of ammo to antis.
