New SIG P220 - Ejection Pattern

On a fairly new P220 (45acp) , my spent brass flies all over the place: right, left, up close, out far, etc. Aggravating. External extractor, btw.

Any recommended improvements?

Tweak ejector length?
Tweak extractor shape?
Weaker recoil spring?

Ammo is home rolled lead, with w231. Nominal power level.
