I've owned Sako's for almost four decades, none have ever required any warranty work.

I wouldn't let Beretta customer service influence my decision too much.

About 15 years ago, I came across a Sauer 202 Lux in 270. Got it for a song, and the plastic stock bug bit me. I bought a Mark V Fibermark Stainless with the profits from the sale of the Sauer. Smoothest bolt and quietest safety I've ever laid my hands on, but the money people are throwing at those Sauers was insane. Shot as well as any bolt rifle I've ever had, but my biggest regret was getting rid of the Fibermark ........ at least it was, until I got my hands on this Finnlight. I'm liking this a lot !!!

Sako. Tikka is made by Sako. A lower price version.

Yes, and I have both.
Tikkas in .270, .30-06, 6.5x55 and .22LR. I also have a Sako 85 in 6.5x55. Not a dog in the bunch. The.270 will shoot 5 140 grain Bergers into 2-3/4" at 500 meters and is one of my High Power Metallic Silhouette rifles.

If I had my druthers, I would have a Sako 75, too. Buy the Sako. You will never regret it.
