12Bravo20---check out some of the no drill scope mounts for the Mk ll.

I have looked at the different "no drill" mounts. I am thinking that I want to go with a micro red dot/reflex sight and found a mount that will work.

I have tried my Swampfox Kingslayer micro red dot on my S&W 22A and really like it. I have also used a Bushnell TRS-25 on the 22A. Size wise I will probably go with something with a RMR footprint for my Ruger.

'As a long time Bullseye shooter, I can tell you that there are far more Ruger .22 autos on the line than there are Buck Marks."

Interesting insight. Thank you. I like to learn interesting new things on this site - way better than Google.

The downside (for me at least) is the fact that the barreled upper receiver is the serialized part and must go through a FFL if you want a different barrel.

The MKII is arguably the finest of the Ruger MK series, it prior to them adding in all of the silly safeties I always remove anyway. I have actually switched to a buckmark for most of my bullseye shooting but still have a MKIV that I do shoot now and then. I'd buy another MKII but I'm getting old and have pretty much stopped buying any more pistols

My MK.II really likes Wolf Match Target, CCI MiniMags, and CCI Standard Velocity, pretty much in that order.

Even the standard tapered barrels can be quite accurate. Mine has been very accurate with CCI Mini Mags, CCI Standard, and Federal Champion
