They are stag grips I got from www.grashornsgunworks.com All their work is BEAUTIFUL, and fits like a glove. For hand made stag they are very reasonable.

You did good! Everyone should have a nice model 19, the best S&W revolver made IMHO. I love my 4" 19-3, super accurate great shooting gun.

I suppose you don't need another voice telling you this, but you were lucky to get that gun for $550 in the current market.

The DA trigger is probably heavy because it hasn't been used enought to smooth itself out. That's not necessarily a bad thing.
