Just thought I'd show off this Smith & Wesson Model 30 I picked up last night. According to the Standard Catalog it dates between 1957 and 1961. It's in great mechanical shape and the case coloring is still very nice on the hammer and trigger. There is a little corrosion under the grips but they are numbered to the gun.

I love shooting 32 S&W Long so I'm always happy when I can pick one up as I feel they are often overlooked.

Sweet! I’ve bid on a couple of those over the years but I’ve always ended up short, congrats on bringing a nice one home.

When you get a chance to shoot it let us know how it shoots for you. :)

Stay safe.

I had one of those follow me home about a month ago after parting with a shade over $500 at my LGS. Mine is in 98% condition. Hope you reload the 32 S&W Long because Midway USA is pretty darn proud of their ammo at better than $1.00 a round. Mine is very pleasant to shoot and accurate as well.

The bottom two revolvers in the photo are a Model 30 and Model 31S&W revolvers. The main difference between them is the grip frame which is hidden by the grips.

Even with fixed sights, the groups with 32 S&WL wadcutters is very small.

I'd love to have a K-frame 32 S&WL revolver (K-32, Model 16-0 through -3) but they are worse to find than hens teeth. Maybe I can find another Model 30/31 and see if I can find a gunsmith to install an adjustable site on it.

The top revolver in the pix is a Model 16-4 chambered in 32 H&R mag.

I have everything to reload 32 S&W Long but haven't done so yet.
