Ok, so I am tired of paying so much for 22-250 ammunition and decided to get into reloading it. I went out bought a Lee hand press, a set of 22-250 dies, lube, funnel, hornady vmax bullets, cci primers, powder, the works. Now, all of the instructions, including the instructions in the Hornady reloading manual just say to re-prime the cartridge after re-sizing. Am I missing something here? Do I need another tool to do this? Or does my Lee Die set come with what I need to re-prime. I have the rest of the process down so that it can be done safely because I have loaded dummy rounds to get the order of operations down. I just cannot figure out what the story is with inserting the primer. Help please. Thank you.

thats what i thought. So i am not crazy. When they say "all you need to get started reloading" that is not actually an accurate statement. It looks like another trip to the store is in my future. Thanks!

Don't forget that you may need to trim your cases. When a case has lengthened to the point where it is beyond the maximum acceptable limit, it must be trimmed followed by chamfering & deburring the case mouth. It all starts with proper case preparation. ;)

BTW, welcome to the world of reloading. Cheers! beerchug.gif

You will definintely want to get a case trimmer of some sort, a 6" caliper, and a priming tool of some sort. I did not see a powder scale in your list of stuff you have... one of those is extremely handy...
