Hi All,

I showed up at the Los Altos range in CA today to put some rounds through my K-31. There I ran into a friendly group of shooters who said they were a group from these forums. We talked, put some bullets through each other's rifles, and now I'm here. I look forward to meeting you guys and going to future outings.

Howdy and welcome. I to have enjoyed shooting with people from this board and look forward to more good times :D

Welcome aboard!

Acrid--glad you're along for the ride! The THR crowd is about as nice a group of people as you are likely to encounter anywere. The THR shoots I've gone to have been very pleasant.

Acrid, welcome.

I agree with Smokey Joe: this is one of the coolest sites on the web, and not just for gun knowledge.

Fantastic people, a wealth of knowledge. I think of it as an on line U of W. (University of Weapons.) Politics and philosophy are discussed here, but both take a backseat to more important things: weapons of every flavor (from pistols to rifles to shotguns to swords), not to mention bug out kits.

Hang out a while, and get ready to spend a lot of time reading. ;)

Welcome; this is a great forum. You can find out anything you want to know from these friendly guys/gals.

Remember gun control is hitting what you aim at!

After watching Braveheart (DVD) up to the sack of York,
I logged back on to THR just to see what was up.

Got notice that PCGS65 had posted. As I read that kind post,
I read chopinbloc's location: "durkhadurkhastan".

:D LOL. ROFL.
<Uncontrollable low-level laughter for 30 seconds,
but laughing with, not at.>

Trying to imagine that future-mythical place with such a name.

Durk. Anything like a Scottish dirk?
(Sorry, got Braveheart on my mind.)

Oh, yeah, I'll take a fat tire, too, even if mine is with a mere 9mm. :D

chopin,

ahhhh, team america recommends itself again. haven't seen it yet, but references to it keep popping up in various unrelated places & times.

guess it's time to check it out.

thanks for the tip.
