Well,I swapped off my two Pietta .31 brass framed pocket Remingtons, for a Uberti 3rd model Dragoon Colt, and my ol' lady bought me a 1849 pocket model for my birthday.I told her it shoulda been a Navy,'cause I'll be 51 saturday....:)

I'll bribe my boy into takein' some if he ever makes it back home.I also swapped my engraved brass framed .36 Remmie off for one of those black powder .22 mag stainless mini revolvers they have in Cabelas, unfired, still in the box, with rug, loading tool bullets and odds and ends.Only Remmie I have left is my .38 conversion, and the only brass frames I have left are my Spiller and Burrs.Must be that mid life crises thing I've heard so much about...

Mmmmm... 'dem mini-revolvers are just too kewl. I can see the need to do a little swapping for one of them puppies.

Congrats

and Happy B-Day pre-Saturday !
Sounds like a great way to start 51 to me , you did good . :D

Thanks gents! She said she didn't get me the Navy because I was already in...Besides I have a nice older Lyman .36 with the silver square back trigger guard I picked up at the last gunshow. All in all,I been lucky. The same lil' red headed girl for the past thirty or so years,a son that shares my hobbies, and friends like you guys!

Great tradin BHP! I've been looking for the right 49 pocket. I need it to complete my Colt C&B collection. Your wife is a keeper, of course you already knew that!

She puts up with me,and has a pretty good sense of humor,a necessity in life, IMHO.What with lay offs and cut backs, money's short...so trades and barter are the way to go.
