Is anyone still waiting for there order besides me? Ordered on 1/10. They will not reply to emails, or answer the phones.

I'm in the same boat as you guys. Ordered 1/10, no mags, no replies, no nothing. Kinda sucks, but I'm not holding my breath any more waiting for them to show up. I've not been charged, to my knowledge.

I'm in the same boat as some of you guys. I ordered 1/10 and haven't received them yet. I've called them and emailed them over a dozen times and haven't gotten a response. I've found mags elsewhere since placing the order with this company. They never charged me so I guess it's not too big of a deal. I definitely wouldn't recommend this company to anyone thought! Awful customer service!!!

I called again and canceled my order. I ordered C-Products and AR-Stoner from Midway instead, they arrived under a week instead of taking 3 1/2 plus months.

FWIW....... the ASC ar15 mags are NOT USGI.

I'm not saying that they are bad mags in any way, but they are not USGI.

Look closely at the follower for one hint. It is a very nice copy of a GItan follower, but a copy nontheless.

I just got an email that my order (placed 1/10/13) will ship within the next 1 to 2 business days. I originally ordered black mags. They told me they are refining the finishing process on the black mags and they are going to ship Grey Teflon finish instead. I don't care either way, but maybe that was part of the 5 month delay?!?!?!

I ll order Troy polymer mags to these aluminums. Polymer s are more robust material.

The mags showed up Tuesday. These are 20rd mag, light grey finish and orange follower. I pulled one out of the packaging and fiddled with it. Spring is strong, lips look good, not sure about the follower. If they will work, I'll be happy. Worst case, I'll save them for a few months and trade them for zombie defense items when the next scare comes about... :)

I ordered two 20-round stainless mags from these guys on January 24. The FedEx guy dropped them off today. Nice, uniform black finish, strong springs - they seem like decent mags.

Anyone used their mags? I was organizing some stuff last night and thought I'd put these in circulation. I tried to load one and the follower locked up after 4 or 5 cartridges. I smacked it on the bench a couple times and was able to unload it. I'll try cleaning it to see if that corrects the problem. I just left the others in the packaging for now. Kinda disappointed...

The mags are 20rd, grey finish, black floor marked "A.S.C. LLC" and an orange follower.

I finally received two 20-round stainless mags from ASC (about 4 months after ordering). While they look nice on the outside, they DO NOT lock the bolt back on empty. I have a wide variety (Universal, Adventure Line, Magpul, Colt, AR-Stoner) of other mags that all work great. I've e-mailed ASC asking to return them, but they have not replied.

I'll avoid these in the future.

DO NOT lock the bolt back on empty

What happened when you locked the bolt back on empty?

When mine showed up they were kinda scratched up. I haven't put a ton of rounds through them yet because I tend to use my pmags. That said, I haven't had any function problems with the ones I have used.

Is the differentiation between .223 and 6.5 and 6.8 mags just marketing, or is it actually a different design? Last I checked, 6.5 and 6.8 were specifically designed to work with the same magazine. That was kind of the point.

The 6.8 SPC and 6.5 Grendal mags are definitely different from the 5.56mm/.223 mags. I have heard of folks modifying 5.56mm mags, but honestly, why bother?

.300 Blackout uses the same mags as 5.56mm/.223.
