This is a nice scope - it looks good and performs well, too. I just received it from SWFA - $100, and right now, it appears to be worth that and more.

I just got it yesterday, mounted it last night, and shot through it for the first time this morning, so this is just a "first impressions." The scope's a uniform matte that matches the T-C Classic receiver pretty well, and I bought Weaver bases and matte Millet rings for it. They go together well. The scope is slightly smaller than a variable, and it doesn't overpower the excellent balance of the T-C.

With a 28 mm objective, low rings are in order, and I could have used "extra low," if such a thing exists. The view is clear, and brings in more light than I can use in the daytime. I can see things in the late evening through the scope that I couldn't see with the naked eye, so it's a good balance. In general, I prefer smaller, non-variables with moderate objective for its natural parallax reduction properties.

Speaking of parallax, this was a slight issue. I opened the manual when it arrived, and read that "all Classic scopes have parallax set at 100 yards." Since this is useless for a rimfire, I called SWFA and they verified it, but only offered to waive the 15% restocking fee if I ordered something else. Hmm. In any case, I phoned Weaver instead, and asked them about parallax. "Corey" said, "I don't know why the manual says that - it's really set to 50 yards." As far as I could tell this morning, there was no visible parallax shift at the 50 yard range at which I shot.

The scope appeared clear in the center, of course, but it was also quite clear at the edges of the field of view, something I wasn't expecting. I could still see bullet holes (reasonably) clearly just before I panned them out of the field of view.

Eye relief could have been an issue, but wasn't. I have it set just about as far forward as I can get it. It depends on whether you're a "glass half full" guy or not. There's either "almost too much eye relief," or it's perfect eye relief, depending upon your viewpoint.

So, except for one documentation quibble, this is a fine scope, and appears to work well for folks who like moderate-sized fixed powers. I'll learn more about it as I wring it out.

Nice report! Hope to pick up a rimfire scope and another .22LR bolt soon. I'll definitely look at Weaver based on what you've experienced.
