New Years Eve Gobbler

I bagged a nice Rio this morning. He had a 9 in. Beard. I took him at 41 yds with a 12 ga. 2 3/4 in. #6 Hevi-Shot Duck load. I used my Blind gun, a Rem 870 with a 20 inch Poly-Choked barrel. The short barrel handles so nice in a deer blind. It also serves well as a selectable choked home defense gun. The choke was set to Full. His head and neck had multiple pellet wounds, and of course he was DRT!
