day of protest to focus attention on the scourge of illegal gun trafficking
and supporting the efforts of Reverend Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH
Coalition to draw attention to gun violence by organizing local events
to be held in cities across America.

Where did you get these? New Jersey has laws about using one's position as a government employee to promote a political agenda. Detectives Pellegrino and Copeland appear to be viloating them. It's possible that their names were used without permission, or that what was agreed is not what was in the notice, but I know of a few people in N.J. who would like to see that notice.
