The bill would allow silencers for hunting in New Hampshire already passed the Senate now the bill, HB 500 heads to the NH House for a vote as early as Wednesday April 6 2016. If passed, New Hampshire would be the 40th state to allow silencers for hunting according to the NRA article.

"House Bill 500, sponsored by Representative John Burt (R-39), would repeal the current ban on the use of legal firearm sound suppressors while hunting. Sound suppressors attached to firearms are an additional tool available to help protect the shooter’s hearing, reduce noise complaints from surrounding residents, as well as increase accuracy and safety. If passed, New Hampshire would be the 40th state to allow the use of suppressors while hunting."

Hope they get it. Maine just passed it last year. I'm hoping mine gets approved by this hunting season but I'm not holding my breath considering the uptick in applications before 41F goes into effect.
