Nills Grips

I was showing off my P5C project gun [http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=167715] and got a couple emails asking where I got the grips. I had inititally tried to order direct from Nills in Germany (Karl Nill Massgriffe und Holverarbeitung GmbH, but they weren't set up to do business in the US at the time. I ended up getting them from MacTec Enterprises on special order.

At any rate, today I got an e-mail from Nills in Germany saying they're ready for business stateside, so I thought I'd pass that along [www.nill-griffe.com]. I would encourage anyone to do businiess with MacTec [http://mactec-militaryarms.com/index.html], they were great to deal with, but they only carry a limited selection of Nills. If you need something they don't carry, it's nice to know you can go direct. I was impressed that Nills cared enough to follow-up on my initial query from last summer -

If Nill is finally selling stocks in the U.S. itself, maybe it'll stop whining about its U.S. distributors.

I ordered a set of grips from Nill's a couple of weeks ago, I'm the 60th order shipped to the US.

They collect a certain number of orders and ship them all at once to their US distributor, who then mails the grips to their ultimate destination.

I ought to have mine tomorrow or the next day.

Oops, forgot about this thread. I got these on Tuesday the second. Total time from order to door was 3 weeks and 2 days. I'd bet new orders take less time now though.

Nill makes truly excellent stocks. It's a goofy company with a great product line.
