Hi to all, i have a question that i can't find an answer to locally.
I Went to my local 'big box' sporting goods store today to buy some ammo that was sale priced. Due to the prices on ammo these days, i tend to buy more of it when it's on sale, like nearly everyone else i suspect. I normally like to buy & keep a few boxes of each caliber or guage in the off season when it's more reasonably priced, then use it throughout the year and replace it during the occasional sale here and there. The 9mm & .38 spl. in particular were soooo inexpensive today that i was tempted to buy a heck of a lot more than i did.
Anyway the question is this;
Does anyone know if there is any specific law here in NJ, or any over-riding federal law, regarding the quantity of ammo one may have at a specific time? I'd really rather not have that old expression "ignorance of the law is no excuse" end up being used against me, especially when no one, not even my local LEO's seem to have an answer.
