Plenty of ammunition and reloading supplies challenges already. Now appears black powder may become non-existent. Announcement reads:

Effective immediately, Hodgdon Powder Company, Inc. has made a decision to cease manufacturing operations at the company’s Camp Minden, Louisiana, site while evaluating strategic options for the black powder business. The business will wind down operations while an evaluation process on the future of the black powder business takes place.

This is probably only a temporary setback but it doesn’t hurt to stock up.

The military still uses a lot of black powder, so there will be some place that makes it . . . .

The Navy does not use big guns on ships much if at all anymore. I am waiting on a surplus cannon powder order right now.
